I tried Nurtec didnt work for me but I’ve tried another nasal spray (didn’t help) insurance covered it so I’m hopeful 🤞🏻

Did it this morning. I'm now $200 poorer.
ps. I also get migrains. After much experimenting, doc & I found Nurtec. Pricey, but works every time.

So I knew last week that this weekend would be prime migraine time (I was right I got two) so I finally said fuck it and filled my nurtec prescription that my insurance initially denied and got the manufacturer coupon.

Oh I am sorry to hear this.💜I don't think my insurance will cover the spray either. Luckily I have something that takes the pain away most of the time. What I need is a new preventative to decrease the frequency of them. I haven't tried nurtec because insurance won't cover it.

Had a migraine coming on, but I took some meds, put a cold water bottle behind my neck, sat my butt in a movie theater, and let The Devils cure me
(It was the Nurtec, but I choose to believe it was the combined powers of Ken Russell, Derek Jarman, Oliver Reed, and Vanessa Redgrave)

For me it is aLifelong condition,and my body grew up a tolerance to the only thing that worked for 4y(Emgality)in 2022.No prescriptions presented to me for trial have stopped me since from having them(the only one that made daysKinda-bearable was Nurtec).I went ahead&gaveTriptans a chance. No good!

Thankfully nurtec and THC help so it won't get as bad as it could. If I sleep it off and take it easy tomorrow, I should be fine!

tomorrow i go to the hospital! i can finally resume 1 method of my migraine treatments! the medication (nurtec) was denied, but the injections (botox) were approved. so i'm getting a face full of shots tomorrow... it'll hurt, but hopefully not as bad as migraines do...! 🥹

Called my pharmacy, they still don't have a new Nurtec script on file for me so I sent another EHR message since no one's called me back re the voicemail I left on Friday. This time I asked if they c/would give me a physical copy... it'd be obnoxious to drive/ferry to Bremerton for this but I will!
