I checked your forecast for #SouthLakeTahoe when I landed in Reno at 6PM - “less than an inch” of snow, it said. It also said that at 9 PM when it was dumping.

Here’s what “less than an inch” looks like.

Maybe you meant “less than 7 inches”

Even though the @NWSReno says we got <1” of ❄️ in the past 24 hours the 🌬 has caused feet and feet of drifts - the one on our back deck is not much less than my 5’7” 😳 And that’s a yardstick on top of the “grillometer” #Tahoe #Snowmageddon2021

NWSReno has called for a #RedFlagWarning for today, Monday, June 16, effective at 1pm - 11pm due to low humidity & gusty winds, forecast for 20-25 mph with gusts up to 45. A fire start will cause flames to rapidly grow in size and intensity before firefighters can contain them.
