Trump is already trying to declare a national emergency, using the border as an excuse. The only question is whether we let him do it now or on April 20th. Delaying it just makes it more palpable and dulls the outrage. @schumer.senate.gov, is this really your plan?
Democrat senators could hold a press conference opposing the resolution, pressuring Schumer and others who might be inclined to support it. Call it the MAGA Death Budget, expose how Trump plans to shut down the government anyway, weaken checks and balances, and redirect funds for his own gain.
