I kinda wanna add some of my old dog OCs to Nyerla, but I'm very on the fence about adding dogs into this world.

Since dogs and especially dog breeds are a man-made concept and there's no humans in Nyerla, it'd be weird. Nyerla operates on evolution and there's no way for dogs to have naturally-

Fun fact, Cirrus is the Nyerla equivalent of an Eurasian wolf. So he's not super big or impressive or majestic like timber or Arctic or Tundra wolves.

Tek CAN go vegetarian btw because thylacines in Nyerla are omnivores and can basically adjust to eating anything except fish. So Tek being a veggie ain't a problem. Their sister Arteya is a vegetarian as well. But for Cirrus idk how to get food for him without cruel hunting methods.

The thing is that Cirrus needs meat to survive as wolves in Nyerla are obligate carnivores, so he can't just vegetarian/vegan. He needs his meat somehow and the only alternative to Tek hunting for him would be to put out traps like snares which is far crueler than the prey just being killed quickly-

-evolved to be like ours. I'd also want there to be our modern breeds, and those exist through generations of in/linebreeding, which is a problematic concept I DEFINITELY don't want in Nyerla.

Idk if anyone has any idea how to do this, otherwise dogs in Nyerla might be a no-go.

Okay so a small Nyerla to-do list:
-Redesign Keiro and Toki
-Design and make a ref for Yaagah and Sprite
-Redo the refs of Reiaya and Tukune (also Qyntor and Rehn but they're lower priority)

I find it easier to come up with characters in my more grounded universes like DS and Perfidy than Nyerla where magic, ghouls, immortality and sparklewolves just are a thing.

I rlly wanna create more characters in my Nyerla universe but honestly Nyerla is such an open headworld with limitless possibilities that I'm having a little trouble coming up with ideas.

In Nyerla the Pantherathki's are all pretty speedy due to the whole "have wings and magic" thing.

Cirrus is probably the slowest on account of him being ancient and having only three functioning legs.
