Birthday gifts that keep giving- these peach bearded irises are fragrant and beautifully dressed ! Planted them 2 yrs ago and the cluster is fuller now.

3 frilly peach bearded Irises on a stalk with green strap leaves around them. There are 2 little blue fuzzy tail like things on each side side petals of the flowers. There are straight flower stalks around the flowers and some leaves from little cherry tree.

Up close and personal!

My hybrid of red rose mallow and a yellow hollyhock. Hopefully more would be with this mix of colors!

A frontal view of a half red n half pinkish yellow hybrid hollyhock. The flower has a yellow throat with creamy white pistil with anthers that are covered with pollen . It has red veinings in the all the petals too.

Moody Blue Monday.

I collected some lavender blue larkspur seeds yesterday from a volunteer plant in our backyard. I've never grown larkspurs before this plant. It is beautiful, does well in our soil n no bugs!

3 lavender blue or purplish blue larkspur flowers growing at a curve. The 5-6 sorta heart shaped petals open to be starlike. There are smaller protruding smaller white petals in the center of the flowers. Afternoon sun highllighted and created shadows on the flowers and surrounding green leaves.

Sunshine of my life.

My favourite fragrant creamy yellow Oriental lily just bloomed today... HAPPINESS!! Getting a few more Oriental lilies later, the plant looks lonely after I spread the cluster of 5 plants around our backyard garden.
