#2000s #Steamtrains #NewJersey NYSW 142 on the NJT Morristown branch ex DL&W M&E in 2002. These were some of the last true mainline trips over NJT before NYSW steam program ended with the passing of Walter Rich President of the NYSW

#1940s #WorldWarII #NewJersey #Trains Erie Russian Decapod 2449 at Butler NJ on the NYSW mainline, During WW1 the Russian Decapods were built for the Russian Empire under the Tsar but due to the Communist Revolution they stranded and many were taken in by US railroads
