Kentish barn, eyerolling at yet another walker cooing at the oast house at its shoulder. Hop cones on the vines in the hedgerows at Ightham Mote Farm, & hoppers huts on the field edges. Hop-picking holiday country, somewhere hereabouts, that Grandad knew as a boy.
