ITS NOT MIDNIGHT YET I HOPE I MADE IT IN TIME!!! Zhen Hongye loves formal wear and would love to celebrate the newlyweds hehe 💞 he has his invitation ready! this outfit is inspired by the armor i usually dress him in on wwm :3

trying to shake off art block and get used to drawing my wuxia oc by drawing him as memes/text posts
sketch page of original character Zhen Hongye parodying 7 different memes and text posts. 1. the meme image of two men on a bus, one frowning while staring at a rocky cliffside out the window and the other smiling looking at the sunset out the opposite window. the frowning man is replaced by the present Zhen Hongye who looks unhappy. the smiling man is replaced by his past self when he had the title Feihuan-zun. his hair is neater, he wears a Well of Heaven uniform and he has a healthier complexion and slight smile. 2. the text post reads “beautiful cat with homophobia” (a misspelling of heterochromia) with heart emojis. the drawing features Zhen Hongye’s brown eye color, and one eye is notably lighter as if it has a mysterious glow from within. 3. two drawings of Zhen Hongye with the meme dialogue “Call a doctor… but not for me!” in the first drawing he crouches in pain and clutches his chest which glows with some supernatural ailment. in the second drawing he has lunged up to grab an unnamed disciple by the throat. 4. a colored sketch of Zhen Hongye with his arms crossed in an insecure posture, gaze averted. his expression looks distressed and his cheeks are flushed. the text post reads: “*me, literally sick with want* ‘whatever.’” 5. sketch of Zhen Hongye looking irritated and resigned. text overlaying the image reads: “Bothered. Unmoisturized. Sad. Out of my lane. Unfocused. Decaying.” a negative parody of a positive caption. 6. Zhen Hongye sips tea contentedly. the text, an SMS exchange, reads: A: “How come you’ve been abnormally nice to me lately?” B: “What do you mean?” A: “You just seem nicer than usual.” B: “I‘ll punch you in the face if you want.” with person B attributed to Hongye. 7. drawing of Zhen Hongye as a popular Chinese style of cotton plush doll, with gray striped long hair cat ears and tail. it has a cute but grumpy face. the text, a facebook comment exchange, reads: A: “A smile might be good.” B: “Nothing to smile about in my life.”
