Really need some help. Any idea on improving this sketch? Feeling like it’s a little plain looking.

Anything helps.

My usual sources for help are being not helpful lately. I’ve come here for some useful advice.

Working on a new OC named Eleanor Campbell. Having trouble with the hair and adjusting her arms and hands. Any advice?

Also, any tips to improve this sketch are welcome.

Anyone want to help me come up with a name for a new OC I’m working on?

Besides the details in the photos (written in the Notes app), all I really know is that I want her to have an anglicized name and a Scottish surname.

Any advice?

Need help determining OC eye color.

Image one is my OC, image 2 is the possible eye I’m working with image 3 is my reference. One has lemon cadmium, one has zinc yellow, the other is pure burnt sienna.

Which eye looks the best to add to my OC?

Outfit’s done. Need help picking a few colors.

What color should her eyes be to match her red hair? Blue or amber? Green eyes feel too common.

What color should her gloves be to match her purple coat? White, brown or black?

Suggestions are also welcome.

Outfit’s complete. Now to decide on a color scheme…

Due to a sudden rise in interest, I’ve decided to show off some of the progress I have made. What does everyone think?

Still need to work on the bottom part and add color though. Should I go for pants or shorts and stocking? Anything helps.

Originally drawing of OC. Adding the arms legs and a more proper form to the chest. Adding a weapon and high heels. Start of her outfit. Added a coat, gloves, and a family coat of arms. Bottom is still a work in progress

Working on a new OC named Rosella “Incendio” Spadoni and need help designing an outfit for her. She supposed to be a mafiosa boss who is manipulative, elegant and intimidating. Based on what I have, can someone help me make an outfit for her without copying anything?

#oc #wip #ocart #sketch #ochelp
My WIP OC, Rosella “Incendio” Spadoni. Tenant from Reverse 1999. This example is supposed to reflect mafiosa having bravado. This is Cabernet from a Chinese mobile game called Path to Nowhere. She supposed to represent mafiosa having elegance.

Anyone know someone I can talk to about OC/ character design?

I’m working on a new OC, but I’m drawing a blank when it comes to design. I usually write about my OCs before drawing them.

Am I the only one who does this or am I an outlier?

break from exetober, i think i finally did it. i think i finally made them look like they belong in the same universe. PLEASE tell me i'm not wrong
#theafterall (new tag for this universe) #arthelp #ochelp #ocsky #ocref #oc
two original character designs for a story i'm working on. on the left is Apollo's original design with slight tweaks, on the right is Mr. X's design, overhauled to make him fit better when paired up with Apollo. he wears large black harem pants, pointed black shoes, and black cap with a band and an X marking on the front. his expression and stance is emotionless, with 2 lines running down from his eyes. his hair is spiky and tied back in a ponytail also i'm sorry Mr X. doesn't have his stubble 😔 it just ended up not fitting well

i'm still really indecisive. but here are the attempted "redesigns" of these ocs next to their original designs.
opinions are welcome, more info in alt text

my two ocs, Apollo (on the left) and Mr. X (on the right). these are their "old" designs (still undecided if i want to go through with the redesign)
again my two ocs, Apollo (on the left) and Mr. X (on the right). these are their "new" designs (again still undecided) in the theoretical universe these characters reside in, earth was one day destroyed and every living creature was reincarnated on another planet as anthro stickmen Apollo's design fits more of the lore aspects originally meant for him, he wore his father's ushanka and sweater before reincarnation (which is why they're so large), his story is mainly him searching the planet for his father after reincarnation Apollo still also has his halo, he just hides it beneath his hat

How do you come up with and get attached to an OC? It’s been awhile and I haven’t created a new one in over 3 months, I think guidance would be helpful for me as I find it hard to start from square one again.

I am having a dilemma designing a new elf. Freckles, hazel eyes, and auburn hair are pretty much a given for me. However, the hairstyle has me stuck between two very different ones. I think both need more braids, regardless. How else will they tell he's gay? #DragonAge #DABSKY #Elves #Elf #OCHelp
A male elf with freckles, hazel eyes, and auburn hair. The haircut is a curly, messy mullet with a small "padawan" braid. A male elf with freckles, hazel eyes, and auburn hair. The hairstyle is longer, with strands in front of the ears, a braid tied back into a small bun, as the rest rests just past the shoulders.
