Me too but no that's actually what organic compounds look like. What blows my mind even more is the realization that organic chemists already figured out what they looked like 200 years ago, even down to the bond angles in 3D. My ochem is rusty so I can't remember exactly how they did that lol

I had a PNAS paper as an undergrad! I won grants! I skipped ochem lectures, read the textbook, and got an A! I wasn't a slouch and these things would still have accelerated me like crazy.
