I revisited Heraklion Archaeological Museum a few days ago to see these fabulous clay pots with octopus decoration. Made by artisans from Bronze Age Crete about 3,500 years ago!

Currently writing about my obsession with the octopus, nature's perfect animal, and came across this:
Fowler's Modern English Usage states that the only acceptable plural in English is octopuses, that octopi is misconceived, and octopodes pedantic.
BRB only saying "octopodes" from now on. 🥰
