An interesting thing about the Steam Machine is the USB modules are connected via ribbon cables so I wonder if you make a module that does OCuLink or Thunderbolt.

First thing I did was yank the SSD out and replace it with an M.2 to OCuLink adapter, so I could game and local-LLM on the thing, using an AMD RX 7900 XT with 20 GB of GDDR6 VRAM.

bodged oculink port into the beelink ser8's free m2 slot seems to be working as does the oculink eGPU dock, but major instability with the donor card i was using to test... uncertain where the failure chain is, hoping it's the card (it's a battle hardened 980 ti)
