Companies that make communion wafers always have extra bits of the material (bc the wafers are cut from big sheets), and sometimes they sell bags of these "host scraps" as a snack.
They're especially popular in Quebec!

As someone who grew up in the shadow of Listers Mill in Bradford, this story brought a tear to my eye:
