I really pissed people off the new management at LLNL by pointing out that if they are demanding I be on call for 8hrs straight on the offshift, that they are not granting me lunch or any breaks, and thud owed me two additional hours of pay and had to report their violations. Every time.

This did, eventually, lead to the end of the offshift because they could not figure out how to make this legally work if employees were going to be as much a stickler about timecards as they wanted us to be.

Had my friend meet me halfway and still cried the whole way to the bar. My fave bartender is here offshift and as soon as she saw my face just started saying "oh no no no no no no no" and brought me inside to hug me and let me just sob on her shoulder.
