Fall Fun Guide #1: A farm festival, OktoBierFest and pumpkins
Hi everyone, I created this guide to highlight and showcase local farms, local businesses and local events that celebrate the bounty of harvest, bring people together and add a little spooky fun as Halloween gets closer.
The Fall Fun Guide is free, and a new one comes out every Friday through mid-November, covering Forest Grove, Gales Creek, Banks, Cornelius and Gaston. If you found this on social media or someone passed it along, sign up free to get it in your inbox each week.
Please note it's still being built out. If you know of a farm stand, a pumpkin patch or a fall-related event in the areas we're covering, please email us at chas@newsinthegrove.com and let us know.
This first guide covers Saturday, Sept. 26, through Thursday, Oct. 1. Saturday is the big day, with a free farm festival north of town, OktoBierFest and opening day at Peter's Pumpkin Patch in Cornelius.
-Chas Hundley, publisher
Every farm stand, pumpkin patch and market in this guide is also on our new Fall Fun map, with hours, directions and what each place has now, plus a list of upcoming fall events.
