There should be no billionaires in government—full stop. Someone who is a billionaire is definitionally not in a position to understand the life of an average voter and—more than this and equally definitionally—has exactly the wrong relationship with the ways the American financial system is broken.
There are at least 11 billionaires among Trump's Cabinet picks—and that doesn't include Elon Musk or Vivek Ramaswamy.
