Prior to the 1920s there was no Olive Way past Bellevue Avenue.

Olive Ave in Novato is a highly-degraded street with no sidewalk on the north side and no bike lanes.
The city was planning to rebuild it by adding 2 lanes and paint-only bike lanes.
Thanks to our advocacy, they have agreed to install a 10.5' shared use path on the north side!
