I imagine that this rock hopes to grow up into a big sea stack, one day.🥹

Enjoy yr new position (& best wishes towards getting additional work)! If you weren't already aware, #OlympicNP is greatly underrated (it has everything from seashore to waterfalls to mountains to wildlife for everyone from families w/ small kids & older visitors to serious adventurers & climbers).

Our vacation to Olympic National Park in 2023 took an unexpected turn due to the fire that burned the Hurricane Ridge facility and kept us from hiking the alpine trails. Instead we headed west into the Ho Rainforest and saw tons of gorgeous waterfalls like this. #olympicnp #waterfall #landscape

The Bear Gulch Fire doubled in size this wk. Now 8300+ acres burning around #OlympicNP Staircase Entrance. Air quality in surrounding counties is terrible (hence the sky). It’s raining now but USFS says not enough to contain it. Sending 💕🙏🏼💕 to the firefighters. #NationalParks #parkchat #forestfriday

#Stunday view brought to you by Mount Olympus - the highest peak in the Olympic Mountains inside Olympic National Park. My thoughts are with firefighters battling the Bear Gulch fire. 4,500 acres burning, including Staircase. #PNW #NationalParks #Washington #sunset #findjoy#artyear #photography

Planning a trip to the Olympic Peninsula in WA? Be sure to include Salt Creek Rec Area. It’s just 17 miles west of the National Park entrance. This spot has great camping, breathtaking views of the Salish Sea & San Juan Islands plus the best tide-pooling in WA state!#roadtrip #findjoy #PNW #ParkChat

I wish I could escape to The Hall of Mosses, in the Hoh Rain Forest, at Olympic National Park. Wandering the 8-mile trail and feeling sheltered by the old growth trees draped in moss sounds perfect right about now. #NatParkGeek #NPS #NPCA #findjoy #NationalParks #saveourparks #ParkChat #OlympicNP

The Ozette Triangle in Olympic National Park includes 2 wooded boardwalks + a coastal trail. A moderate 9.4 mile loop that’s easy to navigate - as long you follow the tide chart! #CapeAlava #Ozette #NatParkGeek #NPS #NationalParks #findjoy #saveourparks #Ozette #OlympicNP #NPCA #protectpublicland

A rare day at The Hall of Mosses, Hoh Rainforest- Olympic National Park. Sun through the mossy trees and frost on the ferns! Winter is my favorite time to visit this sacred place but it’s closed this year. Access road is damaged & no timeline for fixing. #saveourparks #OlympicNP #findjoy #natlparks

To explore the #OlympicNP is an experience like no other. From high alpine peaks to rainforests and rugged shorelines it is an absolute gem, even when compared to all our other national parks. And oddly, often more accessible to #OregonHC than people in Washington due to a chance of geography.
