A montage of 30 horror movie-style posters arranged in a 6×5 layout, each one created in October as part of a month-long series of one image each day. The posters have a common theme of Anonymous, hacktivism, surveillance, and digital dread, but each approaches it through a different horror film poster aesthetic. The posters range from gritty digital horror (Malware, The Bots, Phishing, Vampire Laptop) to political thriller (Corruption, Tyranny and Rot, Eat the Rich, Blue Leaks) to psychological horror (Anonymous, Anon, The Hills Have Flock Cameras) to supernatural and gothic (The Owl, Carnival of Sensors). Each poster mimics the layout, typography, and color palette of a specific film, from vintage 60s horror to 80s slashers to 2000s psychological thrillers. The grid serves as a roll-call of the month's work, thirty different homages to horror movie posters, each one a single frame from a larger story about power, surveillance, and resistance. It's a narrative about how horror evolves from individual threat to systemic threat. Later: the finale, will be posted separately. Which ones did you like?
