it’s OneLibrary. so I will have a OneLibrary drive and a FAT32 copy of that drive
the only issue i had was the latest Rekordbox version (7.x.x)“upgrades” your USB drive to a new file format called “one format” or something like that. it can’t be used with older players

Traktor is supposed to be getting support for OneLibrary soon (DeviceLibrary+ renamed). Which means being able to export from Traktor directly and play on newer Pioneer/AlphaTheta equipment. Though you'd be SOL if the gig has older CDJs or XDJ that use the older DeviceLibrary.

Speculation here, with new architecture in the Rane System One theres definitely something in the works. Also InMusic acquired NI which developed Traktor and supports OneLibrary like RekordBox and djay so maybe some of that DNA will make it into Engine so one USB works everywhere. Its a big reach :3

And that's less frustrating for tracks already on the drive, but moved into other playlists. But, if I am adding new tracks, even if they are on the fucking USB drive in the regular library, OneLibrary is like "I don't see SHIT" until I re-sync them manually. Fuck this.

この前古いUSBにメインで使う曲のプレイリストをエクスポートして、その他使えそうな曲は過去プレイリストから持っていこうと思っていたら、古いプレイリストがOneLibraryじゃないから使えないことにその場で気づいてちょっと怖かった（結局メインプレイリストに結構入れていったので全然大丈夫だったけど）
