That's a nice thought but the treaty doesn't say the US will call it Lake Ontario in perpetuity. It just references Lake Ontatio. Just like we don't say the Treaty of Amity and Commerce thereby says we have to call parts of Germany Prussia still because that's what that treaty calls it.
