They are running not great campaigns. The OntLibs are stuck in centrism, which is little different than the PCs, and the OntNDP can't please either of it's bases without alienating one or other because they've been split since they refused to have a proper leadership race after Howarth.

We do deserve that, but I'm not convinced there's going to be a change with three parties splitting the centre-left to left vote.

I feel the same way about Ontarians whining about life under Ford after voting him in three times. More than half the voters sat on their hands and the non-Tories split their vote between the OntLibs and OntNDP. If people want different results, they have to make different choices.

Between them, the OntLibs and OntNDP got more votes than the PCs. How that would translate into seats depends on vote distribution but at the least they would have done far less badly than they did apart. However, that fact will have no effect on either the OntLibs or OntNDP.
