Plot holes are when characters do not act like entirely rational utility optimizers with complete information.
Like, I’m aware that it’s a performance but why do so many people not get how framing devices work? Or that as movies progress, you learn more about the characters thru their interactions with other characters? And that characters sometimes change and grow as things happen to them?
