When I get an eye exam, I always ask for a copy of my prescription and take it to www.zennioptical.com which is where I've gotten my last several pairs of glasses. They're so much more affordable than the glasses they shill at optomotrists.

2 optomotrists 6 pairs made and still I am wearing my old glasses. The last few months of this back and forth is making me crazy. Have they all forgotten how to make glasses? 🤯🤯

Think about it for a second. You are a senior. Like many seniors, you need your cataracts removed and new lenses installed. You visit your optomotrist for your 18 month ohip covered eye exam and you are referred at that time to have your cataracts removed. You get referred to an opthmologist.../2

Doug Ford changed OHIP coverage for eye exams Sep 1 2023. He really hates Optomotrists and us.
He doesn't think about the scenarios. If you have glaucoma or macular degeneration, every 12 months. The rest us,too bad. Let's talk cataracts.....

As many times as I've had retinologists, ohtholmologists, and optomotrists shine a bright ass light in my face from a headband lamp and then use a lens to focus it squarely into my eyeballs, I can't believe I never thought of looking for a consumer grade version for myself XD
