He was the son of an orangkaya in Ananara, but left his home eventually for the seminary

In the current timeline of my mind he's a Sword Saint
Three different outfit illustrations of a mestizo man with a scar on his cheek and the demon blight upon his right arm. The first illustration: The man's hair is down and covering his eyes. He's wearing simple clothes, a shirt and pants, and closed-toe bakya. Around his neck is a scapular. The second illustration: The man wears a more formal style, modelled after the Asuncion plates, a short jacket, a neckerchief, all on top of a better quality shirt and pants. He also wears a top hat and some shoes. He conceals his demon-blighted hand with a shawl. The final illustration: The man wears Sword Saint attire: A white coat outer that shows off the clerical collar and Ashen Star brooch, and pants. He also wears upturned mid-calf boots a la Qin dynasty style boots and the same shawl from the previous illustration, completely concealing the demon-blight.
