Philip is being outrageous and odious over dinner with an increasingly disturbed and appalled Dr Calgary.
A scene superbly acted by both Matthew Goode and Luke Treadaway.

#OverallThoughts: Boasting a pretty decent cast, the 1984 adaptation of Agatha Christie's #OrdealByInnocence is surely a head scratcher as it doesn't feel like it flows naturally, there's a jazz score that doesn't fit the film & it has random audio issues.

Ordeal By Innocence
4/10

I’ve been an #EleanorTomlinson fan since first seeing her in #TheWhiteQueen. With her roles in #OrdealByInnocence, #Poldark, and #TheCoupleNextDoor, she’s become one of the top British TV actresses. #WomanCrushWednesday #WCW

#OrdealbyInnocence

Conflictingly, I both disapprove of the BBC #OrdealByInnocence changing Agatha Christie's original plot so fundamentally … and simultaneously think the TV plot was better than the book's.

bet he's not really dead

honestly i think Agatha Christie would have lol-ed very hard at the colossal directoral weight some people throw at her stuff

'this is your new daddy. he ages AMAZINGLY.'

#OrdealByInnocence

for something with three eps we've already had too many flashbacks

#OrdealByInnocence

fuck knows why it's there, but the bubbling jam with 'Protect and Survive' commentary is a pleasingly grotesque touch.
