Oregon elections will be safe, secure, and accurate in November and beyond. The U.S. Supreme Court blocked Trump’s attempt to restrict delivery of mail ballots. On Sept. 14, the Supreme Court blocked a US Postal Service rule implementing Trump’s efforts to interfere with vote-by-mail elections Voting by mail will proceed this year as it always has. The Supreme Court’s order means voting by mail will happen as it always has: in Oregon, eligible voters will receive a ballot by mail and can return it via mail or to a drop box by 8pm on Election Day Oregon elections will be safe, secure, and accurate in November and beyond. The Constitution is clear: the federal government cannot interfere with our elections. Oregon voters can be confident that our elections will be safe, smooth, and accurate as they always have been.
