I love a good otolith
Forgot one. I had a damaged otolith. I was dizzy for months. You can read the story here, but effectively I created a VR solution that allowed people suffering from dizziness to do at home, much of what a 180k machine, could do. I loaned money to a clinic so they could offer it across the country
I don’t run any private equity companies. You can go to markcuban.com and see all the companies I am invested in. There are a couple that are looking for cures for tinnitus and endometriosis. One that returns money that insurers underpay hospitals.

Had the absolute pleasure of mounting and sampling some greater argentine (Argentina silus) otoliths today - look how beautiful they are! And so easy to age!
These specimens were dissected at sea around 1AM, after a full-day migraine - gratifying to have them be nice samples!

I was at a chainsaw dissection of a 300-400 kg bluefin and the brain was smaller than a pea. They are not even pea-brained! Otolith was also tiny.
