bought an otoscope. mildly disappointed to find that my ears are not dirty enough to justify the otoscope but at least I can directly photograph my eardrum now

I’m sick and the Goose climbed in bed with her play medical kit and gave me a checkup (thermometer, stethoscope, otoscope, and hit my knee with a little plastic hammer). She said “Do you feel better?” I said, “I do feel better thank you” and she bolted out of the room yelling “DOCTOR GOOSE AWAY!!!”

I think I have enough actual medical equipment now to do a check-up role play. BP monitor, pulse oximeter, otoscope, stethoscope, ear thermometer. I should get some tongue depressors and lollipops.

in the ENT exam room (I have tinnitus and related issues), they had these cool old school control panels that I really wanted to play with. they appear to be in working order but it was unclear whether they were still in use.

A friend of mine is trying to figure out what these 4 brackets are that are in a medical exam room. They are too small for tissues or gloves and too big for otoscope speculae. Google image search has so far proved worthless.

Kid brought a freaking disco ball with him to his appointment so of course I had to put my otoscope on strobe mode, dim the lights, and start playing Sandstorm.
