AVENGERS still hits harder than I expected; fun movie

PRIMETIME underwhelmed; bizarre tone but Pattinson is good

MORBIUS is a movie (don't ask)

OUATIH still a banger; watched w/ friends who hadn't see it (they liked it!)

DIGGER in IMAX tonight 😬 #letterboxdfriday #lastfourwatched boxd.it/6x3Ud

Den her er jo heilt herleg, elsker det visuelle uttrykket! Og Samantha Robinson, kvar har DU vore gøymt hen? 🤩 (jada, veit du var i OUATIH).

I'm still struggling with the fact that the OUATIH sequel has a budget of TWO HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS.

Mindhunter was fun, haven't watched any of the others, hated OUATIH so won't watch the sequel
September 29, 2026 at 9:04 PM
I haven’t been keeping up with Mr Fincher since Gone Girl to be honest. I heard Mindhunter was good. I didn’t see Mank, I prefer Citizen Kane to be honest. I didn’t see The Killer because that title belongs to John Woo. I’ll see the OUATIH sequel but I don’t expect to be wowed by it.

got a 4K blu-ray player today and put on OUATIH for its first spin 🥰

I highly recommend going back to the early 2010s and taking a UCB class so you can watch TV and commercials like Leo in OUATIH.

It also was one of those us shows far better known in Uk.
See also whirlybirds another filler which is mentioned in QT's OuATIh the novelisation as a show Rick was on (Craig Hill the younger star moved to Spain and a long career of westerns and cheap local horror plus the brilliant Anguish 1986)

Yeah, there's a lot I enjoy about OUATIH, but boy howdy, knowing the Brad Pitt Allegations, it is impossible for me to defend the wife-killing gag
September 27, 2026 at 8:23 PM
Absolutely! I felt like that about Robbie in OUATIH - Tarantino was playing with a doll.

It's a pity, because the Pitt stuff is really good and the DiCaprio stuff felt like the best work Quentin had done since the 90s.

Yeah, I get that. It feels to me like a kid playing with action figures, for good or bad. I personally don't mind it, it's not my favourite of his films but I'd watch it again and OUATIH won't get another minute of my attention if I can help it.

I think at least with Basterds there's catharsis of killing Hitler and Goebbels and all the Nazi high command. It at least builds to an event. OUATIH builds to a non-event, it's incredibly unsatisfying, imo.

Gonna do the OUATIH point when this guitar comes out
Real curious about what’s going on with this guitar

Puis toujours charismatique.
4/5

Feel like the sheer weirdness of this is still underdiscussed. Pitt coming off his biggest hit ever starring in a $200 million Netflix sequel to OUATIH, with Fincher directing the first Tarantino script that Tarantino hasn't done himself since FROM DUSK TILL DAWN. www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjEZ...

An absolutely deliberate fuck you to critics of OUATIH. Fuck that movie and fuck this one too.
Plays that new fincher Tarantino trailer, opens with something like;

“You heard that story about Bruce Lee getting his ass kicked by a stuntman?”

Holy Jeez, I thought you were joking. I use the term “evil” very rarely in describing movies, but OUaTiH is 100% an evil, evil film. I will bathe is holy water to prepare and/or cleanse should I ever engage with this movie
September 21, 2026 at 8:09 PM
I loved OUATIH, so it’s not like I don’t want a continuation of it, it just feels like we don’t need one
September 21, 2026 at 7:56 PM
That's more than fair. I can absolutely see the ways in which it didn't work for people. It was a weird outlier for me. Only QT movies I really like are Jackie Brown, Kill Bill Volume 1 and OUATIH.
September 21, 2026 at 6:53 PM
To be honest I strongly disagree, BUT I love spaghetti westerns and am one of the few people OUATIH didn’t work for at all, so I’m biased
September 21, 2026 at 6:14 PM
Hot take? I believe Tarantino will never make another film. He’s put too much mustard on the whole “final film” thing and is too obsessed with his OUATIH characters. It’s been seven years and no concrete sign of anything moving forward (I know we’ve been here before but it feels different this time)

Love Fincher, I think OUATIH is Tarantino's best. That cliff booth trailer is ugly as hell. So muddy flat and lifeless. anyone could have shot this?

The OUATIH sequel looks custom-made for tedious people
