There’s only one reason why Harris lost: an ignorant and gullible electorate. Don’t overcomplicate it.

That's really it, no need to overcomplicate
I've been saying all along: you don't need to explain Trump by calling him a compromised Russian agent. He's weak, he's corrupt, he's stupid, and he wants to be Putin when he grows up. That's all. That explains everything.
What compromising information could they possibly have on Trump, he was close with the most notorious Russian pedophile sex trafficker and covered up the criminal’s connections to Russian elites?

Thinking he’s been coerced might be easier than recognizing he’s just doing this, believing it’s good.

Funny thing is I did most of this yesterday when I was on three hours of sleep. Real easy to not overcomplicate things on three hours of sleep. Complication capabilities were no present.

(Aside, I'm not saying that 10 year olds are simple thinkers; but rather that adults overcomplicate everything and then their explanations of social and political cultures stop making straightforward sense.)

The thing about people who mock Trump criticism with “Orange man bad” is his motives are so base it’s flattering him to overcomplicate it.

it’s also silly because the obvious political solution is to have one truly binding referendum on statehood sanctioned by Congress. If it passes then PR becomes a state. No need to overcomplicate things

People on here really love to overcomplicate these things. The entire vibecession debate is this too: prices are high and people don't like it.
This framing was never useful and essentially indefensible by early last year. Trump won because prices were high and because people skeptical of government wanted to send a message. That was the “alliance” and it is why he’s struggling now: prices are high and he’s the government.

Why not just My Source Now?

I don't understand why people have to overcomplicate things this way
As the cable news channel MSNBC splits up with NBC News, it is also dropping the "NBC" from its name: Later this year, it will become MS NOW, which stands for My Source for News, Opinion, and the World. Here's my full story: www.cnn.com/2025/08/18/m...
