Here’s an interesting artist. Find out why she overpainted 가지마 on a painting. She also has parting words for her art and activism class I’ll post. Finally, she’s written books including a couple on creative lettering for kids. They won’t need AI art if they can do this.

Its hands are actually super shakey too, it uses very fine brushes to minimize that issue when paired with bracing. The bit y'all don't see is rhat the edges of its nails get badly overpainted - which it then trims off by file or cuticle cutter!
Also! Funny you should mention that...

Reform just dislike children. Braverman following in the footsteps of Jenrick who ordered Disney characters to be overpainted because little asylum seekers shouldn’t feel welcome. What has happened to compassion in this country?

Day 265!! I’ve applied a white oil glaze over the top of this, will let it dry down and will see if needs another. Also, there’s only 100 days of 2026 left, this project will be moving into the double digit countdown as of tomorrow!

I'm often baffled by paintings with wildly varying aristic quality. This Leda and the Swan has a quite well executed Leda, but then you look at the Cupid and have to wonder if someone else overpainted this or what? 500€, 45*56cm www.interencheres.com/art-decorati...

I loveeeee monster pClea whose previous self is really struggling to overcome what she's become but I think it's just as interesting to consider her overpainted self BEFORE the E33 gang restores her colours as its own creature sort of like how Maelle is different from real Alicia

Counterspell, after Angelo Caroselli’s circa 1620 “Scene of Sorcery.”
Part of the storytelling in my alters is thinking about how the MTG art that is overpainted is still in our minds when looking at an alter; here, it’s that classic Mark Poole shocked face/gesture, by different means.

Also way less than you think! It's a huge rendering which I overpainted a bit. Maybe about 30 or 40 layers. It's really just the scale of the canvas and since Affinity handled everything better I also blaim Adobe's optimization a bit :D
