Trump and MAGA overreaching on ICE and immigration will/has backfire with Latinos and potentially make their gerrymander in Texas a dummymander.

If you’re screaming about the violence being enacted on tax payers by the United States government, you are not overreacting.

You are not overreaching.
You are not overstating.
You are not alone.

Been thinking a lot about this reading the discourse around Traitors, LIB, The Pitt, etc…is it overreaching to say that pretty much all online discussion of popular TV/movies is toxic now?

The Republican Project for literally my entire life has been to warn us that the Federal Government was Too Powerful and Overreaching and would Strip Our Freedoms and now they have gotten into lockstep behind this loon who's like "I might fuck around and ban muffins"
Trump: "I could've banned fishing. The power of this office is crazy. I could've banned fishing. I think I'm gonna do that."

Absolutely explosive story on #Mediawatch tonight about Kim Williams interfering in ABC programming and doing the bidding of a bullying performer.
Completely overreaching his role as Chairman.

Van Hollen is, curiously, one of very few electeds acting the way the founders envisioned—using the opportunity of one of the branches overreaching to further his own career. It’s a good thing, but passing strange we don’t see more of it.
Q: "How do you respond to Governor Newsom?"

Sen. Van Hollen: "I think Americans are tired of elected officials or politicians who are all finger to the wind...Anybody who can't stand up for the Constitution and the right of due process doesn't deserve to lead."

He's flailing. He's overreaching. He's snapping at the drop of a hat. He's running out of time. He's miserable. He's paranoid.

He's trapped. And he knows he's trapped.

I've talked about this elsewhere, as have others, but THIS is why Trump and all of the others are trying to make their moves through (illegal, overreaching) executive orders: They can't actually pass this hate as legislation. Here, the anti-trans sports bill was stopped in its tracks.
By a vote of 51 to 45, the #Senate did not invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to S.9, the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports bill. Party line. Senators Capito, Lummis, Slotkin, and Welch did not vote.
