My hot take? They should just turn Faust into P4AU Teddie, not so much on having set items, but that items always work in your favor
If Faust grabs trumpet the mini fausts cross the screen twice, and if the opponent grabs the trumpet it only crosses it once but they're still hitting the opponent

Not that it matter much to me personally, I don't play at such a high level every shitty little thing Faust has is exploited and I have fun with the character either way, but it does feel frustrating when you can feel the strange gaps in his kit that you don't feel with other characters
But again, all this means is that now instead of Faust being uniquely shitty on this front, it just means he is slightly on par with the rest of the cast, and this is basically the same tune his entire kit plays too

Part of me also wonders if that side story was meant to be a standalone spin off at some point because why is it written just like P4AU and has Tatsuya explaining concepts the player would already know (like what a Persona is) because you can't even unlock it until several hours into the game?

BTW yes, even back when I first played with this idea I know another artist already explored what both P3 protagonists would have looked like as P4AU characters, the reason mine deviated and had Kotone wearing more casual clothes is because I ran under the assumption she is a reserve member

went to animate and finally... i get to look at both p4au and omori mangas in english here, easily staring at yu-kun's lovely face all the time....

A while back I had an overambitious idea to do a doujin about a version of Hamuko who gets involved in the storyline of P4AU. I eventually dropped this because it was a lot of work, at the time my art was kind of sloppy, and a loss of interest in Persona because FeMC fans kept getting shafted.
