one of my strongest empirically unsupportable education/pedagogy takes is to make some version of a moral philosophy class a core subject. Inquiry and discussion based, minimally objectively graded. Just introduce kids, Sandel style, to the idea of thinking in a direct way about ethics.

I was slow bc always asked *why* and got no answer. Statistical analysis was simply logical although could be abstract in how it was interpreted. Very fun. Early algebra? No fun.
