Grand Union Canal 38
Making our waytowards the Thames
Packetboat Lane connects Cowley Peachey to Little Britain
An entrance to an old dock is on the left.
I guess the widening of the canal allowed boats to turn in and out of the dock.

On the left of this photo is the entrance to an ancient dock, now disused, at Packetboat Lane; a bridge takes the tow path over it. On the right is Highline Yachting boatyard. Purple Haze is the boat moored nearest to us. A stray mallow brightens the towpath in the foreground while in the far distance is a girder footbridge across the canal for the Slough arm. We'll come to that later.
