When I moved to Utah a family friend told me to read Cadillac Desert. I passed that suggestion on to friends doing the same.
The lake opened up some trips with packrafts, sups and kayaks. Glad I got to do them. We hauled a bunch of trash out of the mud on the last one.
This one's good too.

I recall a magazine feature where two guys toured the Hebrides with standard Bromptons and packrafts - deflate and pack the packraft while riding the roads, fold the bike and carry in the inflated raft to paddle from one island to another.
