no this is a thing now! the trads and the Latin Mass girlies (gender neutral, pejorative) are going full evangelical on this. my childhood best friend’s daughter was at a school here in Portland with a trad priest who banned Halloween and replaced it with an All Saints Day costume pageant 💀
