Think I'm going to take the fence remnants and build a little paintbooth for the back bench? Cut off the rotten bits, slap some exterior paint on it, and maybe give it some doors to avoid the always irritating bugs in a perfect paint job.

3 steps in, loosely assembled. I’m going to paint this in sections as well so this is as far as I’m going right now. Off to the #paintbooth

Did lots around the house yesterday, started a round of deep cleaning since we’re hosting Thanksgiving this year. Moved some old cabinets from the garage out to the shop for a new and improved #paintbooth. Also managed to empty and clean another #GeekDen cabinet and add the LED strips to light it

Got some time in the #paintbooth today and sprayed the metallic paints onto the appropriate parts for this Eblanworx Discovery phaser kit. I think I know now where all the parts go and they’re almost all painted.
I’ll leave them here now to cure and then I think I can start some of the assembly.

A decent clearcoat requires investing in a very expensive paintbooth subject to regulation in a factory. But Elon is stupid enough to take the name "Stainless Steel" at face value and running with it. I work in auto manufacturing and we laugh about the CT in every way at work.

Figured I'd share a couple other liveries I recently worked on the past week and a half. Slowly starting to build a nice portfolio.

Beautiful even white finish then I notice two separate strands of suspected cat fur, which ruins the finish when I scrape off paint removing it. The suspect is in custody. #ZeroleneBuild #HOScale #ModelRailroad #ModelRailway

Curious why there is a focus on just fursuits. Our hackerspace has hosted a group that does great cosplay builds and uses many of the tools that other makers/hackers also use: laser cutters, paintbooth, sewing zone, eLab, craft zone, hand tools, etc. Is it more the community? Specialized tools?
