Cat review #37: Star Trek - The Motion Picture. I'd only seen this on a telly sized screen before, and let me tell you this is the biggest upgrade I've seen in a movie since I got the projector. On a big screen it is *gorgeous* and the cats agreed. Finley 7/10, Paiten 6/10.

Cat review #25: The Poseidon Adventure. Name a more light-hearted movie set on New Year's Day. That's right, you can't. Seems my cats really enjoy watching bad things happen to good people, the feline freaks. Finley 8/10, Paiten 7/10.

Cat review #33: Columbo - Étude In Black. This one kept their attention and rightly so. The John Cassavettes / Peter Falk match-up is top tier stuff, but the cats were far more interested in Columbo's new dog, probably because he seems to sleep even more than they do. Finley 8/10, Paiten 8/10.

This is Paiten. She woke up a couple of minutes ago and was happy to see me. When she's happy she breaks wind... and when she wandered into the living room the emissions from her back end were so intense that I now daren't use any light switches for fear of taking out half the street.
Paiten, a tortoiseshell cat with the sweetest face, a loving nature and a behind that rides roughshod over multiple international weapons treaties.

Paiten is inside the box, Finley's outside and they're both chomping away happily at the cardboard. I may be compelled to buy another box of Ready Salted McCoy's to replace it... oh no, how terrible for me.

Evening, all. Have you met my new kittens? Of course not, let's rectify that. The ginger gent is Finley and the dark lady is Paiten. They're 13 weeks old and I am told they are *sweethearts*. They're fast asleep in their hiding place right now, so I'm not overloaded with photos yet, but I will be...

My tortie Paiten is made of fur, love and astonishingly regular meows.
This is Paiten - she looks like she's judging you but once she gets to know you she'll happily purr, clamber, sit and dribble all over you. Obviously, I love her to bits.

As a responsible adult, I felt it was my duty to teach Paiten how to play cards tonight - I'd forgotten how Roxie used to get fixated on the mouse pointer until this evening, turns out my new murderkitty is just as interested.
Paiten, a dark tortoiseshell, staring intently at the mouse pointer on the screen. She also enjoyed trying to catch the cards as they flew off the screen but that wasn't as easy to get a photo of.

I thought Paiten had gone out, and during the past three hours Finley's come clattering through the catflap, trotted upstairs, shouted at me for Dreamies, said Dreamies pack was shaken loudly in case Paiten was home, then dished up, Finley then went back out... and Paiten's just woken up.
