Pictures from the bolt action game last night, the Hungarian armour lost the duel with the British Sherman but the Hungarian PAK40 gave good account of itself shooting up the Sherman but the dice let it down and the damn tank refused to be destroyed! ended with a British victory.

Holiday project... rather than do crosswords I figured I could build up some sub-assemblies on the Tamiya Marder III.
Unfortunately, looking at the metal barrel I picked up at a show last year, it's for a Marder II (75mm pak40) not the Marder III (76.2mm pak40). Rookie error.

Couple of new bits of kit - A Pak40 and three of the crew, and a knocked out M9A1 of 1RB - to be used as an objective marker or scatter. All 15mm FDM printed as usual. #spreadthelard #wargaming #chainofcommand

Been awhile since we've done a ##WIPWEDNESDAY so, seeming as it just turned midnight here's some shots of the PaK40, PaK50 infantry guns, 8cm mortars and crew for the 36th VolksGr project.
Guns are mostly done and so focus is on the crew.

Solo try out of Crossfire rules. The plan: British to push down the right flank with tanks going in first to flush out German defenders (positions circled in blue). Liberal use of smoke to screen the advance to contact. Brits need to be wary of Pak40 on left (yellow) and Panther on right (green).

The new plastic 28mm PAK40 from Warlord painted as a Hungarian gun.
Really like the plastic gun, I’ll be all over the Soviet ones when they release them!!
Videoed the process so I’ll get that edited and up on YouTube over the weekend.

Making headway on this German WW2 force. Finished up my heavy weapon teams, medic, forward observer, and half track. Just waiting on a PAK40 to arrive. Then maybe another tank or two.

When Warlord Games announced they were releasing plastic weapons teams for Bolt Action, I was rather intrigued.
I picked this PAK40 up at the store opening earlier this month. Excellent kit all round.
I added two kitbashed kneeling crew because I can never really build kits without tinkering 😃
