Congratulations!
I just finished my third wizard kissing run and Tav is a devotion paladin in this life and their favourite things to do is kissing Gale, smiting the unholy and forgiving people. Gale finds their divine smites very sexy. He is ✨smitten✨ hehe
And sunlight became a theme for them.

Description of the main character

This is from my unfinished and obv unpublished WIP “The sage, the green and the gold”

The paladin and the druid with the same face meet in between worlds and learn of their greatest loss
#bg3writing #bg3fic #paladintav #druidtav #wipfriday
Screenshot from a writing app: And their face was pale, the eyes dull, dark and sunken in, lips colourless and chapped and something was inherently different about them. Different besides them looking like they went through hell. And not the figurative one. The paladin felt it deep in their soul, this version of themselves had fought in Avernus itself, perhaps even in the blood war itself. What kind of tragedy must have struck this poor soul to even consider going to such a place? Not even this world’s paladin was feeling compelled to spend more times in the hells than they already had on the journey that laid behind them. And all the worse, this soul was not a paladin! The aura of sacred, noble magic was missing, instead there was a rich power in them, all around them, brimming and buzzing with life. It was the unrelenting graceful perseverance of spring and the unavoidable passion of a November’s storm. This soul was a druid! All of the life, all of the power was beautiful, if only it weren’t so sad. The paladin could sense how the hells had tainted the druid’s magic and spirit. A place that could not be further away from the grounds of Silvanus’s creations, a place with no green, no sunlight, no kindness.

Day 1 – Opening

This is from my act 1 post weave-scene and orb confession angst in the Underdark Gale x Paladin!Tav OS “A kiss in the dark – Braver than we are”

#devotionweave #galextav #galeofwaterdeep #galedekarios #paladintav #galefic

archiveofourown.org/works/65014804
Screenshot from AO3: A kiss in the dark - Braver than we are By Myvanway Summary: Some act 1 musings and orb induced angst in the Underdark about the lovers who think they can never be together and the dark which welcomes them to let their demons finally go and to be braver than they are for one desperate moment if this all they ever get to share. Notes: (See the end of the work for notes.) The water is of an unsettling, deep, deep black and there are barely any sounds besides the soft thump of the tiniest of waves at the vessel's side as it glides through the smooth darkness. Everything is dark. The blackest black. Only the torches on the ship create a bubble of light around them and there is the occasional glowing mushroom in the distance on the shore but it's passing by quickly, soon the light becomes a memory. Though the dark is oddly comforting, it's velvety soft and gives Tav a chance to let their face drop. Gives them a chance to think... To feel.

Portrait of gently smiling Paladin!Tav looking into the distance while being surrounded by golden/ orange/ pink light They wear a golden armour of devotion. Tav is a white human with medium length curly ginger hair and victory rolls. They wear dark eye makeup Screenshot from tumblr, white font on medium tumblr blue: Post by “worfs-glorious-hair” Lay on hands and lips What if Gale needed to rest from an exhausting fight and had to stay behind for the day in camp? Well, his trusted and beloved paladin jumps to the rescue for some much needed healing from their blessed hands. They may be called "Lay on hands charges" but nobody says that you have to use your hands to heal your lover... Gale x Paladin! Tav (they/them), no specific oath, genderneutral, can be read as Gale x Reader, no warnings/ SFW. Just some sweet, gentle paladin x wizard fluff I don't cope well when I have to leave Gale behind in camp. So when I had to do it the last time in my latest game was I coming up with an in-story explanation about why Gale would not be there in the party with Tav and this long blurb/ short OS happened. Enjoy! <3 tumblr screenshot (white font on medium tumblr blue ground) "I am sorry, my love," Tav says while stroking over Gale's cheek as he looks up at them from where his head rests in their lap with tired and yet still so, so determined eyes. "You are drained from the fight in the Wyrmway," they begin but get immediately interrupted by Gale. "No, l am not, I will not let you face Cazador alone. You need me," he pleads but Tav sees the way how his tongue is still heavy from the exhaustion of yesterday's fight in Ansur's lair under the Wyrmway when he had channelled the mightiest of magic that he is currently able to to break through Ansur's powerful lightning strikes. Tav sees how dark the bags under his eyes are in contrast to his pale lips, drained from all colour and strength. "Of course I need you, my love," they coo and gently stroke over his hair. He melts into their touch. tumblr screenshot (white font on medium tumblr blue ground) "I hate it when I don't have you near me, I hate it when I turn around and you are not there. But I see the way your hands tremble, how cold they still are." Tav reaches for him with their free hand and takes his securely in theirs and kisses each of his knuckles, letting their healing magic flow through them into him. Gale sighs contentedly, embracing the warmth of Tav's lips on his skin, of their gentle, sacred magic that smells of lavender and the kindness of May that engulfs him now. That lingers in the air around him and lulls him to sleep. Despite his best efforts to stay awake, to keep looking at Tav and the love in their eyes. Despite not wanting to let them wander into the undead lion's den without him. "You need rest, there is only so much that even my magic can do to heal. We will be back before you know it, I promise...", Tav says with a reassuring smile and traces the lines of the orb under his eyes with featherlight touches. Gale hums approvingly and nestles closer into Tav's lap, into their touch and embrace. And Tav kisses him, sprinkles him with their healing touches, onto each of his brows and cheekbones, his eyelids, the tip of his nose and finally onto his lips.
