🦖 Day 6: Paleotober Anomalocaris + Glow
Roughly 500 million years ago during the Cambrian period, this "abnormal shrimp" was one of earliest examples of an apex predator, using its front appendages to snatch prey.  I thought colours inspired by cuttlefish would be really cool.

🦖 Day 2:  Paleotober Dimetrodon + Elemental.
Dimetrodon lived in the Early Permian period, its more closely related to modern mammals than dinosaurs, it's openings behind the eyes in its skull separate it from early sauropsids.

🦖 Day 24 Mosasaurus + Sky
Initially thought to be the bones of whales or crocodiles, this aquatic reptile is thought to be most closely related to monitor lizards or snakes - the debate is ongoing. This one resembles the evening sky.

🦖 Day 23  Muttaburrasaurus + Pearlescent
One of the most completely known dinosaur fossils from Australia, and named after the digsite Muttaburra in Queensland, Australia where it was found. I wanted to give this one an eerie but beautiful vibe.

🦖 Day 6: Nothosaurus + Alien
A semi-aquatic reptile from the Triassic, it may have been an earlier evolution of Liopleurodon. I liked the idea of a river habitat instead of the ocean so I gave them this colouration to blend in.

🦖 Day 16: Dunkleosteus + Ghost

🦖 Day 17: Suchomimus + Floral
With a diet of fish, rays, eels and smaller prey - this spinosaurid also features many neural spines on its vertebrae like others from its family.  I wanted to give this one a floral environment, rather than the design of the dino itself.
