I made hundreds of SMART Response XE programming adapters ... by hand.

My pogo pin soldering jig is made from a material called PaperStone. It easy to machine and it tolerates heat well.

Here is a video showing how I use the jig for soldering long pogo pins.

Started finishing my Paperstone countertops today. Made from recycled paper and resin, it works like a hardwood. Today: sanding with fine grit sandpaper. Tomorrow: sealing with TopOil and later beeswax. So awesome!

An architect friend in Seattle used a recycled material for her countertops. I probably wouldn’t choose it if I had little kids, but the surfaces are really nice looking, and not cold like stone is. Check these out!

Here’s the start of the vanity countertop for the head on *my* boat. I presented this idea to the client who boat I also working on, however he was pretty set on paperstone, so we’re going with that for his boat. That leaves this beautiful bit of very figured big leaf tiger maple all to myself.

There is this really nice (IMHO) stuff from Paneltech in Hoquiam, WA called PaperStone. It's made from recycled paper & has held up really well in our bathroom. I'm going to use it for new kitchen counters this summer. They also make nice plywood panels with PaperStone skins that they call CoverPly.
