Isto afirma bem claramente a mesma mensagem essencial.

Blue-skinned Gods by S.J. Sindu. Kalki, a boy from a remote village in Tamil Nadu, was born with bluish skin and believed as a reincarnation of the god Vishnu. Raised by family members who wanted him to believe in his own divinity, Kalki grew up struggling to find himself, torn between his perceived divine image and his true self, especially when queer attraction started to grow. Kalki’s tale of self-discovery explored ethnic, gender, sexuality, and faith. Appetite by P. Paramita. Zarina, a Bangladeshi prep cook in a fancy New Haven restaurant, had two interests: modern spins of her childhood Bangladeshi dishes and the successful female wrestler Sierra Myst, who was also her crush. When her social media posts drew Sierra’s attention, they met and became closer. Zarina did everything for Sierra until she started to question her own worth, as her desire to make Sierra happy might threaten everything she’s worked for. What It Meant to Survive by Mala Kumar. Mala Kumar explored lesbian romance, race, religion, immigration and gun violence through two women of color: Indian American Ramya and Nigerian Juliet. As their lives intertwined after a Tinder connection, they started experiencing strange memory lapse and time freeze. To make their relationship work, Ramya and Juliet must come to term with their dark pasts, their respective trauma, and the emotional impacts. Da by Arathi Menon. Arathi Menon explored estrangement, gay fatherhood, and chosen family in tumultuous time through the eyes of Ved, a 13-year-old boy. He lived in a simple bliss with his kind adoptive father, Da, who was gay at a time when Section 377, a colonial law, made homosexuality a crime. Menon tenderly explored the relationship between Da and Ved, especially when Ved was torn between love and fear as vigilante gangs targeted those who they deem “unnatural.”

Zarina, a prep cook at a fancy New Haven restaurant, is underpaid, overworked, and might as well be invisible. The only upside? She gets to take home leftover ingredients and whip up modern spins on the Bangladeshi dishes she grew up eating—all while enjoying her second greatest passion, professional wrestling: namely, her hero Sierra Myst, the massively successful, high-flying heel who’s built like a superhero and is every bit as daring. One night, Zarina posts about Sierra Myst, and the impossible happens: Sierra responds. Zarina is elated at the chance to become closer with her idol. At first, their friendship is everything she’s ever dreamed of. But as the weeks fly by, Zarina starts to feel more like Sierra’s unpaid personal assistant and relationship counselor—and her desire to make Sierra happy soon threatens everything she’s worked for. An affirming and utterly original debut about a young chef chasing her dreams—and the pro wrestler she idolizes who derails

Sayani Gupta reacts to ‘Aasmani’ getting clean chit in copyright infringement
Mumbai, Sep 13 (SocialNews.XYZ) Actress Sayani Gupta, whose directorial debut, ‘Aasmani’ was clouded with allegations of similarities with ‘Prabha’, has reacted to the film receiving clean chit by the Screenwriters Association's Dispute Settlement Committee (DSC). The film has been cleared of copyright infringement allegations by the body. The complaint, filed against the actress-director and editor Paramita Ghosh, alleged similarities between ‘Aasmani’ and ‘Prabha’, which is a documentary yet to be completed. After reviewing submissions and independent expert comparisons, the DSC found the two works shared only the underlying idea, while storytelling, character development, conflict, and story arc differ.
