You can argue with me if you want, but I am saying that paraphiles need therapy and help, we need to stop child abuse in all its forms, and that we need to also address the authoritarianism that both causes people to abuse children and contributes to the development of paraphilas.

This take is literally science and evidence based from cases of abuse where paraphilas were involved (a minority, as most such abuse does not involve paraphila.)

The take 'paraphiles are evil and should be killed' is ugly because it keeps people from accepting their problem and seeking treatment.

It's always important to remember that if you dehumanize people with paraphilas (who DO NOT ACT ON THEM) and treat them as if they are less than human

You're 100% right about that. Spaces that promote real-world abuse or ideas about performing paraphilas are not healthy outlets for paraphiles.

This in my opinion is why these things need to be accepted and normalized; the current genocidal reaction pushes people into these dark spaces.
