Read @sgj.bsky.social' "The Buffalo Hunter Hunter". This was absolutely wonderful. A page-turning literary horror. Learnt a bunch of new words (druthers, phrenic, parfleche etc) along with some (lightly fictionalised) history. So many 'found document' historical horrors are not remotely creepy 13

Alternate layers of beans, firecrackers, and cement until the reliquary is full, reserving a final firecracker layer for the top. Allow to set for seven hours, and voilà, your suburban parflèche is ready for indoctrination!
