Glorious conditions for Rutland Water parkrun this morning. The better half volunteered as parkwalker and I jogged the lot today. Happy hammy forever more I hope.

She's never been a runner, but supported me at many, many races in 5 different decades. My long suffering better half is now an enthusiastic parkwalker, and today got the full kit to wear and carry. Her V ratio beats mine too. #parkrun is for everyone.

Seems running a half marathon with a dodgy foot doesn’t actually improve it (who’d’ve thought 🙄🤭) so volunteered as parkwalker at Thoulstone #parkrun today. Ace parkrun, very pretty plus sheep & sunshine!

A pretty awesome morning as volunteer parkwalker at Rutland Water parkrun in perfect spring weather. And great to see virtual parity in finishers with 190 men and 187 women, as well as nearly 10% walkers.

The awesomeness of Parkrun. A 90+ year old did her first run with her family at Christmas. Now back home, she has joined our merry band of parkrunners, being Parkwalker today. Dad also did his 150th, having done his first in 2021. It really is never too late to start #Parkrun
