#pathmakers
Throughout LGBTQ+ history, Black LGBTQ+ folks have been trailblazers, icons, pathmakers and groundbreakers. October is LGBTQ+ History Month, and we honor those whose work, art, voices, stories, and contributions have fueled the fight for Black LGBTQ+ liberation and visibility.

I walk the space between science and spirit—curious, grounded, and always seeking. I light candles with intention, ask big questions, and find meaning in ritual. If you're a dreamer, intentionalist, or meaning-maker walking your own path—let’s connect.

So precious to get this unguided tour through an incredible lifetime of reading. Deborah McDowell is one of the pathmakers of visionary Back feminist literary criticism since the 80s, part of the spearhead of Black feminist theory into the academy. Love this and appreciate you so much

Shame they didn't consider that before they voted...

But what am I to say, the German government is led by a party that seems to be intent on being pathmakers for the far right extremist "AfD".

Good to see people go on the streets though!

I was lucky enough to source social enterprise start up funding in our first year, and to get a local freelance facilitation contract, which meant we could set up the free Pathmakers Community, and pilot the Action Support Group at pay-what-you-can with no minimum. (4/x)

the Whiteboard Geeks workers are real pathmakers—fighting together in a “right to work for less” state, for dignified working conditions and fair compensation. TAG has your back!
Animation workers at the independent White Board Geeks studio outside Richmond, VA, voted to form a union more than a year ago. Yesterday they rallied to oppose wage cuts and demand a fair contract! Thanks to the Virginia AFL-CIO for their solidarity and participation. #StandWithAnimation

I gotta get offline. It's all too much. Summary:

If writers are serious about saving the industry, they have to look past where they can submit to and fight for the pathmakers. It's an ecosystem.

And if people are serious about group coverups and the silencing of women don't be complicit in them.
