It's not fine! Please don't compound the error by being patronising to boot.

At a point in dating where you come off as patronising towards your partner but it’s okay because they love you #zosan

the way generative AI pushers invoke ‘accessibility’ and ‘diversity’ and ‘inclusivity’ in their arguments for using genAI is so fucking disgusting and performative and patronising, it’s unbelievable
• Promote responsible and ethical use of generative AI services

• Comply with the evolving best practice recommendations on AI ethics and governance

• Where AI is used, it is used for good

• Work mindfully in relation to impact

Why didn't Freddie ask his mother for advice? Because she's patronising, dismissive and controlling. #TheArchers

Nearly sent a snappy reply to a man making a patronising non-sequitur in my mentions and resisted #growth

This is patronising bullshit.

So much patronising arrogance.

So little actual justification for it.

The UK really is a very sick place.
October 13, 2026 at 7:28 PM
Funny? Nope! It’s extraordinarily patronising! 😡

And the invocation of ‘working class people’ is utter patronising bollocks.

There is one thing I will grant you that Bluesky is genuinely worse at than pre-Musk twitter was and it's that nigh everyone here is /incredibly/ patronising, in a way that I can only describe as Mastodon Culture Overspill

The idea that any of us is asked to make an argument for our Britishness is not only insulting and patronising but also pretty fucking racist
Dear tv and radio producers. Thankyou for the invitation. But, no, I do not want to appear on your show to defend the idea that I am English, after 50 years of living and working here, because the increasingly feral right want to turn this into a "debate" and you cannot see how you're being played

Stephen Kapos also supported the motion. Have they ‘poorly understood’ your points? We haven’t poorly understood you. We disagree with you. A tad patronising!

Burnham absolutely wiped the floor with Badenoch at #PMQs today. It was easily his best performance against Badenoch. She was as patronising and awful as ever. What do Tories see in her?

“It’s no harder than using someone’s married name instead of their maiden name” is my favourite gently patronising way to explain it to the hard of thinking
October 9, 2026 at 8:38 PM
"We're not Bulgaria" lol. Good luck with that patronising, belittling, condescending attitude that illustrates perfectly well why this UK is not worthy of membership.
October 11, 2026 at 9:21 AM
Honestly, putting out a statement saying “you’re all angry at our AI statement because you don’t understand it” is patronising. We all understood the original post and its commitment to undermining authors by embracing machines literally trained on their stolen work.

Solidarity? Never heard of her
We understand the strength of feeling this AI Charter has provoked & that more explanation is needed.

We will publish a blog tomorrow detailing why, in a vacuum of regulation, this charter demands more transparency & accountability from organisations on how they are using AI now and in the future.

But plenty of patronising TV ads telling US to save water!!

in order to stop someone addressing me in an extremely patronising and condescending way. And I suppose it's notable and disappointing that seniority of some kind is effective, but - goodness me - life is too short to tolerate boarish men or to ever, ever be called "young lady".
